The whole extraction process was really buggy and confusing but it worked somehow.
However when I launched the game it just crashed immediately, similar to how everyone else described it (with the red line).
I would recommend staying away from this torrent.

Just an update.
I deleted the folder and reinstalled. This time the extraction process is taking a lot longer so hopefully it will work.
I'm gonna try the 1.0 crack linked earlier when it's done.

Update. It worked!! :D
Here is what you have to do, step by step.
1. Download the torrent.
2. Extract the .rar to somewhere you will remember (desktop, my documents etc)
3. Open the folder and inside will be a file called setup.dat
4. Run setup.dat
5. A black command screen will open and it will begin extracting/compiling or whatever. It will say you are on 1% for a while but at the top left you can see the actual % it is on.
6. It will get to 20% and freeze for a while. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING. Leave it for 10-20 minutes and soon it will say 40%, then 60%, etc.
7. Once it is finished, go to http://www.freeinfosociety.com/site.php?postnum=1093 and download "Crack for Version 1.0 ENG" This is a crack which you will need. Do not download v1.1 because apparently you cannot get past one of the levels.
8. Replace the .exe in your Hitman Blood Money folder with the crack you downloaded.

Hey guys. Just follow ninjar123's instructions if you are getting the "HitmanBloodMoney.exe failed" error. For whatever reason, sometimes during the extraction process, not all of the files are installed. I was watching a movie during the installation, so I didn't realize how short it went. It is supposed to take about 20 minutes or so. If it is shorter than that, and your game won't run, chances are not everything was installed. Just delete the folder, re-unrar the file again, and run setup.bat once more. Then download the 1.0 crack listed above and copy it, and you should be good to go. First time I tried reinstalling it, everything worked great. Thanks, ninjar123 for the advice, and thank you Shroo for the up!

i ran the game off vista and it didn't work, then annoyed and not willing to accept it was for 2000 and xp only, i re-opened it about 5 or 6 times, then it ran perfectly, as if it was never a problem, this might just be a huge coincidence, but its worth a try for anyone else here using vista!

Great torrent. My problem is that in the beginning you have to walk up to the gate and a guard opens it for you or something in a cutscene. The cutscene never happens, so you're stuck in front of the gate. I'm assuming this is what ninjar said about getting stuck at a level. But I tried his crack still have and the same problem.

please someone help me! I'm having the same problem over and over again with all the previous Hitman Blood Money games (including this one). It seems that at the Paris Opera mission the game crashes on the desktop with no warning or reason whatsoever. I have finished the game,but with cheats,so I can skip this mission and some others that have the same problem. I have cracked it with v 1.0 but it's still the same old crap. Can you help me? I realy want to finish this game :D

sry, have to add to this....on the level "You Better Watch Out" every time you try to throw the poison sausage to the dog the game crashes. Sucks bc I was on a run of Silent Assassin ratings.

why does the game crash on the level "you better watch out"?happened when i tried to place a bomb and happened when i was in the hatch over the elevator throwing coins below

And remove the line further down, which is written twice:

Don't download this sh*t! Doesn't work! I've tried 2 times, extracting took about 6 hours - after that when I try to run the game it gets me back to desktop! I think something in setup.bat is wrong. It extracts like 6 Gb and then it deletes it and only 2,2 gb left instead of promised 4Gb for the game.

What sort of RUBBISH is this?!! It's NOT working!!! I first extracted normally, then I saw the instructions and again extracted with 7z(btw, there's no .rar in it right?)in the same folder(kind of overwrite.The total size was now 4.20gb).Then I ran the setup.bat stuff-it extracted all right, but I'm thinking how come it becomes 2.26gb? I then ran it-the red line came, then it crashed with that 'send' or 'don't send' error message thing. I then downloaded crack v1.0 and replaced the original one. I ran it, it's not working again-same problem. I now copied all the .dll files from the zipped folder and pasted it in the extracted folder-It still doesn't work and to tell you something, my Quick Heal Internet Security 2010 found a "Worm.AutoRun.ahko" in precomp.dll and says it repaired it but it doesn'y copy it anyway. I've not installed that directX 9.0 since I already have 9.0c. I'm going to try few more tricks and I'll let everyone know if it works or not. If it doesn't work then I wasted 8 hrs, 600Rs. and my hard disk space downloading it...Shroo, tell me the truth, does it work or are you FOOLING us???If it doesn't work I'm planning of buying it directly...

I strongly suggest NOT to download this particular rip, although "synergy" claims it doesnt contain a virus my firefox mysteriously wouldnt respond after installing and internet explorer wouldnt even start up. after doing a system recovery it mysteriously worked again.... i think you can do the math,

I just downloaded this and got the crash on startup error. Looking through the comments i figured I'd use this v 1.0 crack:

let me tell you people something, the ones facing "youbetter watch out" crash bug...
i especially observed this stage, when it crashes, and i got that whenever u "throw" something the game will crash.. be it a gun or a coin or anything...
just try to end the stage without throwing away a gun or anything...
trust me you will be able to complete it.. i did. only that u cant complete it in stealth...
just take a motherfuckin shotgun or something and open fire.. trust me u'll be able to complete the stage very easily.. (without any trainers or anything)

I got the same problem with "hitman blood money has encountered a problem and needs to close" . I've tried both cracks , 1.0 and 1.1 from the links deturius wrote but still it doesn't work . My computer has the minimum requirements for the game to work but it doesn't .Also during the extracting it went from 4.20 Gb to 2.2 ;i don't know how could this happen cause i only had 3, 95 free space on the drive .So it probablly has a bug or worse a virus .Thanks for nothing

plz help anyone!!! i tried the game with exe file provided by default and it stucks at black screen with red line loading!! now when i replaced it with v1.0 exe file (given by ninja)... red line completes then it comes on window with out any error!! how i start the game?????? i m running vista!! :((( help!!!!
